My Equestrian Journey: Growing Up with Razzle
Hi, I’m Amelia, and I want to share a little bit about my equestrian journey with you. From my first riding lesson to the bond I’ve formed with my pony Razzle, horses have played a significant role in shaping who I am today.
A Childhood Passion
At the tender age of 6, I had my very first riding lesson on a little pony that lived just down the road from us. I still remember the excitement and anticipation I felt as I mounted the pony for the first time. From that moment, I was hooked. The connection between horse and rider fascinated me, and I knew I wanted to explore it further.
Meeting Razzle
When I turned 10 years old, my dream of having my own pony became a reality. That’s when we found Razzle, and it was love at first sight. Razzle may not be the “perfect pony” by conventional standards, but he is perfect for me. His quirky and silly attitude never fails to put a smile on my face. We quickly formed a deep bond that has only grown stronger over the years.
A Journey Together
Razzle and I have essentially grown up together. We’ve faced challenges and celebrated victories side by side. Through countless hours of training, we’ve honed our skills and developed a language of trust and understanding. Razzle has taught me patience, perseverance, and the importance of building a strong partnership with my equine companion.
Beyond the Saddle
My passion for horses extends beyond the saddle. Alongside my riding journey, I’ve also started a YouTube channel to document my experiences and share my love for equestrianism with others. Razzle has been a prominent figure in my videos, showcasing our adventures, training sessions, and even the occasional blooper. The support and feedback I’ve received from my viewers have been incredibly rewarding.
The Future
As I continue to grow and learn as a rider, I’m excited to see where my equestrian journey takes me. Whether it’s competing in shows, exploring new riding disciplines, or simply enjoying peaceful trail rides with Razzle, I know that horses will always be a part of my life. They have taught me valuable life lessons, provided me with endless joy, and given me a sense of purpose.
